Cerri Catering is the creation of Enrico Filippelli, Owner and Executive Chef, who brings a lifelong passion for food and hospitality to every plate. A Marin County native with deep Italian roots, Enrico’s culinary journey began at just six years old, helping his mother in the kitchen as she simmered her signature homemade Bolognese sauce. That early connection to food, family, and tradition continues to inspire his approach today.

By the age of ten, Enrico was already working in a local boutique
grocery store, developing a sharp eye for quality ingredients and a  deep appreciation for seasonal flavors. He graduated from the  
California Culinary Academy in 2001 and has since built a diverse
and accomplished career—from intimate private dinners to
large-scale events for over 5,000 guests.

Founded over a decade ago, Cerri Catering is named in honor of
Enrico’s mother, whose maiden name “Cerri” (pronounced cherry)
reflects the heart and heritage behind every meal. The company
blends classic technique with a modern, ingredient-driven
sensibility to create memorable dining experiences.

Cerri Catering specializes in  custom, thoughtfully curated events – whether it’s a wine-paired tasting, an elegant wedding, or a refined corporate gathering. Enrico and his team collaborate closely with each client to design menus that reflect their vision, values, and taste.
